One email, when the data moves

This site is built from 111,079,869 real MOT tests and re-computed whenever the DVSA publishes new data. If you want to know when that happens without checking back, leave an address. That is the whole promise.

What you get

  • A short note when a new build lands — what changed, and a link to the changelog that lists every page added, retired or re-computed.
  • Not a newsletter. No weekly digest, no “top 10 cars” filler, no sponsored slot. If nothing moved, nothing is sent.
  • About 2–4 emails a year. That is how often the underlying data can change.
  • One click to leave. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works without logging in.

Or watch one car, one failure, or your own fail sheet

The form on a model page signs you up for that model only. The form on a failure page follows that failure. The repair calculator can follow the exact items you priced. Each of those is a separate, narrower list, and each one only emails when that thing changes.

Which is worth knowing before you sign up here: a broad “everything” list gets the fewest emails, and a narrow one is more likely to be useful to you.

What we do with the address

It is stored in our own database, in the UK/EU region our host serves from, and used for nothing except the emails above. It is never sold, never passed to a partner, and never used to build an advertising profile. The full detail is on the privacy page and in the method.

You will get one confirmation email first. Until you click the link in it, nothing else is sent and the address is not on any list we would mail.

Last rebuild: 2026-11-05 (5 builds recorded). The changelog has the per-build detail.
